Don Johnson Jr. graduated from UNM in 1996 Cum Laude, and went on to serve in the United States Navy as a helicopter pilot. In 2006 he graduated from Golden Gate University School of Law. He is licensed in California, New Mexico and with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Mr. Johnson has been practicing law since 2007 and in New Mexico since 2010. He focuses on Family Law cases, has been appointed as a Guardian Ad Litem in Bernalillo County, and Sandoval County by our judges. His experience and understanding of the law, courts, and families can assist you in your case.
Mr. Johnson retired from the United States navy in 2017. He served in Baghdad, Iraq for the year of 2011, earning the Defense Meritorious Achievement Medal awarded by the Secretary of Defense for Exceptional Meritorious Service for the Armed Forces of the United States. He uses his knowledge and experience to help veterans get the benefits they have earned. Appointments for veterans regarding their benefits are free.
